AC/DC was founded in 1973 and belongs to the pioneers of Hard Rock. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. After Bon Scott's death, they hired Brain Johnson as a singer to finish the album Back in Black. With this album they created the third best-selling album in the world. Their records sold over 200 million copies, making them the most successful hard rock band to date.
