Afrika Bambata

Africa Bambaataa is a hip hop pioneer from the very beginning. He was a DJ in New York in the 70's and released records like the early hip hop classic Planet Rock. He is the founder of the Zulu Nation, a coalition of B-Boys, DJs, Graffiti Artists and Hip Hop stars like De La Soul, Queen Latifah, A Tribe Called Quest and the Jungle Brothers. The Godfather of Hip Hop has also worked with artists of various genres including Yellowman, UB40, Johnny Rotten, James Brown and WestBam.
