Baden Powell was one of the most prominent Brazilian guitarists of his time and a pioneer of Bossa Nova. He composed among others the pieces Berimbau and Canto de ossanha, which was also sampled by Jurrasic 5. His style is characterized by the fusion of jazz, samba and bossa nova, which also included classical elements.
