Charlie Christian was one of the first jazz guitarists to use the electrically amplified guitar tand thus created a sound similar to that of wind instruments. He created something completely new and influenced many guitarists like his friend T-Bone Walker who was the leading pioneer of the legendary Chicago Blues. He played in Benny Goodmann's band and produced several solo albums.
