Definitive Jux, also known as Def Jux, was founded by El-P in 1999 and existed until 2010. The label's releases were mainly underground hip hop records. The most important representatives of the label were El-P himself, Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, Murs, The Weathermen and RJD2.
