Isaac Hayes

Isaac Hayes started his career at Stax Records where he quickly became the most successful composer and producer. He composed the hits Soul Man and Hold On I'm Comming for Sam & Dave. Additionally he recorded with Booker T. & the M.G.'s several songs for soul singers like Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett or Carla Thomas. On his own albums he developed a mixture of Disco, Funk & Soul which significantly changed the sound of the Memphis-Soul.
