Rick James

Rick James was a funk musician who had his first commercial success with the album Come Get It! which was released in 1978. He produced and composed numerous songs for various artists on the Motown label before becoming the label's most successful musician in the late 70s and early 80s. His hit Super Freak is still played on the radio and in discos today and was the basis for MC Hammer's song U Can't Touch This.
